On 3 August 2026, Brittany Ferries confirmed that it will end the transport of live farmed animals on all its routes and vessels. This landmark achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support and dedication of campaigners like you. Tens of thousands of you wrote to key decision makers in the company, and by adding your voice and putting sustained pressure them, you sent a clear message: this cruelty is unacceptable.
While this is a major milestone for animal welfare, our work is far from over. We will continue campaigning to end the suffering caused by the live animal trade and to secure stronger protections for farmed animals across Europe.
