How do I know that my privacy will be protected if I give online?
Our online donation forms operate on a secure server. FOUR PAWS has partnered with Bernard Data Solutions to securely process your online credit card donation. This transaction will appear on your credit card statement as “FOUR PAWS”.
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our payment gateway provider's database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems. All information about your credit card will be kept entirely confidential.

Are my donations 100% tax-deductible?
Yes. FOUR PAWS International is a 501(c)(3) organization which is qualified to receive tax-deductible donations. Although a contribution to a charitable organization is generally deductible by individuals who itemize their deductions, an individual’s right to such deduction is subject to a variety of limitations, including the obligation to obtain an acknowledgment regarding contributions of $250 or more from the charitable organization. FOUR PAWS recommends that you consult with a tax professional regarding the tax deductibility of any contribution.
Who will have access to my personal information after I’ve made a donation?
No one will have access to your personal information without your consent. From time to time, FOUR PAWS may rent or exchange the names and mailing addresses of supporters with other trusted organizations. If you do not wish to have your name shared in this manner, please contact us at email@example.com. We will never rent or sell your email address to any third party.
What do you use my information for?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
- To improve our website (we continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you)
- To process transactions
- To send periodic emails and e-newsletters.
