Every day, public institutions serve countless meals throughout the country. From schools and universities, to hospitals and retirement homes – the public sector often goes for the lowest cost and the lowest animal welfare standards. In the case of animal products such as milk, eggs and meat, the minimum legal standards are simply not enough. I want public institutions to fund the best practices and lead by example!
I say NO! to public institutions funding animal cruelty.
I say NO! to cruelty ending up in school meals.
I say NO! to poor animal welfare practices.
I say NO! to the Government using public money to fund animal suffering.
Public institutions should set a good example and pay attention to animal welfare when purchasing animal products. I say NO! until they do.
