Every year over 100 million animals are subjected to horrendous cruelty, for no other reason than to provide fur to the fashion industry!
While the UK no longer allows fur farming, selling fur in the country is still allowed.
We believe it’s time to end the UK’s involvement in this cruel and outdated industry.
You can help make this happen! Join us and HSI UK in calling on the UK Government to ban the sale of all fur in the UK.
Urge them to ensure that the existing ban on the import of cat, dog and seal fur is maintained and extended to include fur from all animals killed for this purpose, as part of the upcoming Brexit negotiations.

Dear Minister Greg Hands, Minister George Eustice and Ms. Margot James,
I am writing to express my full support for FOUR PAWS UK’s call for a ban on all fur sales in the UK.
I am completely opposed to the immense suffering caused to more than 100 million animals each year in the international fur trade. I support the campaign to ban fur imports to sales in the UK and create a #FurFreeBritain.
Inflicting cruelty on animals for frivolous fashion is deplorable. We should close our borders to this cruel trade, reflecting the view of more than 80% of Brits who believe that it’s unacceptable to buy and sell animal fur in this country. More and more countries are following the UK’s lead and banning fur farming: banning fur imports sales would once again show the UK as a world leader on animal protection.
Please commit, through the Brexit negotiations, not only to retain a UK import ban on cat, dog and seal fur, but also to establish a sales ban extend that import ban to cover the pelts of all animals killed for their fur.
